John Reimer
Registered Massage Therapist
John has been involved in strength training for over 15 years having competed in the sport of Powerlifting at the provincial level with the BCPA from 1994-97. As an athlete, John personally experienced the positive effects of Massage Therapy. His experience from Massage Therapy invoked a passion in him to help others and sparked an interest in the profession.

This paved the way and led to a career as a Registered Massage Therapist. Attending the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver John graduated in the first class of the new 3-year program in 1998. In order to be able to provide patients with the highest quality and standards of care, John has taken continuing education in: Osteopathic manual therapy, Sports therapy and rehabilitation.

John has completed the first year studies with the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is currently working on the National Sports Massage Therapy Certification Program with the Canadian Sports Massage Therapy Association. His approach to treatment integrates Orthopedic assessment and Osteopathic principles, which view the body as a whole functional unit and seek to discover the cause of dysfunction, and set up the body to heal itself and restore normal function. Treatment techniques vary with each individual and his/her specific condition to be able to effectively address their particular needs.

John has been in private practice since 1999 and  volunteers his time with the Massage Therapists Association of BC to develop and enhance the profession, as well as National, International and community sporting groups and events.
